If you’re reading this blog, you are one of thousands of
Michigan attorneys who use ICLE resources to succeed in practice. But have you
ever considered turning the tables and being the expert yourself?
ICLE is always looking for fresh faces and perspectives. We
want experienced and knowledgeable contributors who can help us keep our growing
pool of resources high-quality, current, and useful. There are a lot of ways to
contribute, large and small, and a range of time commitments. We have smaller
resources, such as Top Tips in Ten Minutes and How-To Kits, that can be a great
way to dip your toe in. If you have excellent presentation skills, you may be
interested in participating in one of our On-Demand Webcasts.
If you want the latest information on what types of
contributions we’re looking for, head to the Become a
Contributor page of ICLE’s website. Right now, we are interested in finding
expert contributors in a few specific practice areas, including debtor-creditor
(particularly debtor-side), elder law, guardianships and conservatorships, no-fault,
and start-ups. If you specialize in these areas or have other expertise to
share, we would love to hear from you and talk about possible contributions.
So how can you get started? Just contact me with some
information about your background and expertise, your suggested topic, and what
type of contribution interests you. You can contact me via the Community or at rebekahp@icle.org or 734-647-3987.
