Who’s Your Favorite TV Lawyer?

Many TV shows have a good lawyer character. Do you have a favorite? I’ve shared two of my favorite TV lawyers below.

Saul Goodman. Breaking Bad is the story of Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher turned meth kingpin. This year it’s been hard to avoid mention of this fascinating (and very dark) TV show. Thankfully, the Breaking Bad producers added some comic relief with Walt’s sleazy and savvy lawyer, Saul Goodman, who helps Walt build his criminal empire.

Walt’s partner in crime, Jesse, recommends Saul to Walt, saying, “Seriously, when the going gets tough, you don’t want a criminal lawyer … you want a criminal lawyer.” I’m not saying he’s a good role model, but he’s always good for a laugh.

Bob Loblaw.

Bob Loblaw, from Arrested Development, is my number-one favorite TV lawyer. His name (say it out loud) is used for so many funny jokes. There’s his blog, “Bob Loblaw’s Law Blog.” And then there’s this headline:

Fantastic. Here’s a link to Bob Loblaw’s commercial: http://youtu.be/mwWAsNZTnug

I guess my favorite TV lawyers are those who aren’t very good role models for real lawyers. Come to think of it, are there any good lawyers on TV?
